Being a Panelist

One of the things about being young is experiencing things for the first time.

This week I was on my first Panel. When the Project Coordinator from Brock University, my previous University, I was surprised that they would be interested in hearing my experiences since graduating as I am such a recent graduate.

One of the learning experiences that I am taking away from being a part of this Panel is the need to know your bio. I was not prepared enough to concisely introduce myself, my experience and where I currently was in my career.

One of the things that I did well within the Panel was using my past personal experiences to support my opinions and ideas. I am proud of the things I have already done within my career, and being able to share it with others makes me happy.
